The collection of objects and artworks produced by Uusi, strive to combine elements of craftsmanship, quality material, and everyday aesthetic. Based in Chicago, Uusi was founded by designers Peter Dunham and Linnea Git as way to bring functionality and design together to clients. From woodworking to illustration, their combination of talents result in a dynamic array of products that are utilitarian and visually inviting.
With a background in design and graphic art, Lisa Viareggio from Alle Studio, decided to shift gears and develop her craft in a more illustrative way. And I couldn’t be happier! This charming artist creates the kind of art that makes your heart smile. She stamps totes, iPhone cases, pins and paper with her quirky drawings. You can purchase her products either here or here.
Living in Brooklyn, you have so much amazing food surrounding you at all times. The competition is fierce and the quality is impeccable. When I saw these posters at BKLYN Larder, a retail cheese and provisions spot, I thought two things 1. Why didn’t I think of that!? 2. I want salami. Check out all of the prints here. I am not sure who created these posters but if anyone does, I would love to credit them!
I finally purchased my own bike to cruise around on, and I can not help but get excited about all the accessories available at my finger tips. I saw this video about the invisible helmet and got chills! Unfortunately, it is a pretty penny to get your hands on one of them, but I think this concept is totally amazing and inspired this bike post! Happy Monday!

So I had the pleasure of participating in the NYC Color Run last week. I was on team Double Rainbow, which consisted of nine color run enthusiasts, including Tiffanni (from Atlanta) who posts to Peaches to Apples! All-in-all the day was totally amazing and worth waking up at 5am! …the blue zone dominated in color distribution. Check here to see if the Color Run is coming to you!
