We Suck Head & Pinch Tail’s in the South

Growing up in Maryland, my summers were filled enjoying old bay covered blue crabs.  The crustacean cracking activity is held near and dear to my heart. So when I moved to the Georgia, the crawfish boil was, at best, a 2nd place substitute (not a replacement). This past week at the Brooklyn Brewery, they hosted the great Pinch Tail, Suck Head event. Yes, so that means a crawfish boil in NYC! I was joined by a few fellow southern friends who quickly jumped on the opportunity to attend this all-you-can drink beer and eat event.

The experience was great, it wasn’t an overly crowded shit-show, the crawfish were a decent size, the seasonings were spot on, and the beer was fully stocked. This was the first time I had ever gone to a Brooklyn Brewery event, and if this is telling to their other events I will sure show up to one in the future. All-in-all it was a wonderful way to start the holiday week! Happy Memorial Day!
