3 on Thursday

I love having a short work week, but this one started out on a lower note when I woke up feeling under the weather. Thankfully it was just a 24 hour thing and was likely just an adverse reaction to some medication. Still, after spending a day feeling gross, I spend the rest of the week being cautious. Thankfully, I don’t have a ton of plans for the weekend so laying low and feeling 100% should be no problem.

I had Friday off work and spent the day curled up in bed, reading magazines, and loving every moment.

Same pose, two different friends. Amanda was visiting town so we made plans to do a fun dinner and drinks. After already having set this up, Jourdan invited me to her bday dinner. Of course, I was bummed I couldn’t do both (I like to do all the things), so you can imagine how happy I was to learn that both groups had serendipitously chosen the SAME restaurant for dinner at nearly the same time, followed by drinks at the same bar! I guess sometimes you really can have it all.

My beau and I have gotten into the habit of cooking a relaxing Sunday supper. It’s a nice way to wind down after a hectic weekend and prime yourself for the week ahead. Since we had a long weekend, this week’s Sunday supper was actually on Monday. I made a big salad and cooked up some pre-seasoned meatballs from Whole Foods (that were amaaaazing). Also, angel hair is way better than spaghetti. Just sayin.
