“Sweet & Sour” is my version of that dinner table game where every guest says what the best and worst parts of the day were. As we head into the weekend, I think it’s important to get the bad stuff off your chest and remember the positives as a silver lining and energizing factor. When the weekend hits, I like to release the “sour” and embrace the “sweet.”
Sweet: I was unable to be at Leo’s bris on Sunday, but Albert went to represent our household. As someone raised Catholic, I’m sure he found the Jewish ritual strange and a weird way to spend his Sunday, but he understood how important my relationship with Matt is so he made sure to be there.
Sour: Thanks to the pouring rain, my trip to Athens wasn’t exactly what I pictured. It meant I didn’t get as much time with my brother and friends, but I was happy to take what I could get.
