After 2 weekends in a row with Albert gone and after work events (for him) almost every night for over 2 weeks, it will be nice to have him around for once – and on a long weekend, no less! Because the weather had not really felt like summer, Memorial Day Weekend, aka the kickoff to summer, totally crept up on me. I didn’t plan much but hoping that means we can still take advantage of the long weekend with some spur of the moment adventures.
On Wednesday we saw temperatures in the high 80s and it was glorious! I took advantage of the gorgeous, sunny weather and ate my lunch on our company’s deck overlooking the Hudson.
Found some yummy European chocolates with the most adorable packaging in the office candy bowl this week.
Something new is going into the space where a lackluster bodega once lived. I can’t wait to see what it will be, but for now I like the heart shape graffiti that sprung up on the construction.
