Sweet & Sour

“Sweet & Sour” is my version of that dinner table game where every guest says what the best and worst parts of the day were. As we head into the weekend, I think it’s important to get the bad stuff off your chest and remember the positives as a silver lining and energizing factor. When the weekend hits, I like to release the “sour” and embrace the “sweet.”

Sweet: We had to have a repairman stop by the apartment this week who changed the time on us.  Albert was so helpful in meeting him, even when it meant several trips to and from his office to the tune of four miles.

Sour: I had a really frustrating gym experience on Tuesday evening.  First, I learned upon arrival that my membership had expired so I had to drop a TON of cash to re-up.  It was painful handing over more than $1,800, but on the bright side, I won’t have to think about it for two and a half years and my cost works out to a mere $61/month.  But then I had some trouble with the machines and it was a whole to-do.  Let’s just say nothing could go right with my workout.  At least I got some exercise in.
