I may not have known what “new style tea” meant when I walked in the door, but by the time I walked out of HEYTEA, I knew I was a fan.

The interior is sleek and modern but calming – almost zen-like. From the space to the drinks themselves, not all tea spots are created equal, and it’s worth noting where the good ones are.

I ordered the mango grapefruit boom but made sure this is one that could be made with no cheese, no slush. It was creamy, fruity, and fresh. Basically it was perfect and very refreshing.
