Next up on my quest to find new UES coffee shop favorites, I finally tried Madame Bonté (84th St. location), which is quite the hidden gem and suitable for all sorts of pursuits.
Upstairs you’ve got some tables and a welcoming environment for getting work done in front of the natural light streaming in from the front window.
Downstairs, you’ll find more tables and a patio that makes it great for gathering in groups – which is nice because this place turns into a wine bar. With all that going for it, this is a great neighborhood spot for convening or caffeinating.
