This is the epitome of a neighborhood coffee shop. Townhouse Café has everything you need to become your local: proximity to the subway (right across from the 6 and – bonus for me – near my kid’s school for a post dropoff caffeine fix), strong wifi, baristas open to small talk, homemade pastries/sandwiches, and a courtyard during nice weather. I recently enjoyed a delicious coffee and knocked out a few chapters in a space that still felt bright, despite the heavy rain that didn’t let up for a moment that day. I’ll be back. Often.
