Last weekend was veryyyyy busy, and I actually like that. While I was physically exhausted (my legs were sore after the number of steps I walked on Sunday!), I also really enjoy the go go go. It may have been hectic, but I was happy the whole time and things were generally going right. That said, I am happy I had nothing on the calendar this week. I’ve grasped the opportunity to recharge and get back into the gym. The last two weeks I only worked out once/week, and I’m pleased to be getting back on track. This weekend is not so booked so we’ll see what comes together!

Woodlawn has a thriving Irish population and ever since Shawn and Kathleen moved there, their annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration has become a Saturday I look forward to each year.

We spent some time at The Met this weekend, touring the Egyptian wing while learning the story of Passover. Finn lost interest a little earlier than I hoped, but it was a nice change up to the morning routine and I’m glad I’m introducing him to more pieces of his Jewish side. Plus, the light shining into the museum was just stunning!

I treated myself to a lokum with my morning coffee after dropoff this week. I’m loving Townhouse Coffee and really loving that I’m starting to become a regular – always a goal of mine. “Romanticize my commute” was one of my New Year’s resolutions and I’m happy to be making good on it.
