“Sweet & Sour” is my version of that dinner table game where every guest says what the best and worst parts of the day were. As we head into the weekend, I think it’s important to get the bad stuff off your chest and remember the positives as a silver lining and energizing factor. When the weekend hits, I like to release the “sour” and embrace the “sweet.”
Sweet: I love taking advantage of an opportunity to dress up, but lately fancy events have been limited to weddings so it was nice to get a blowout and go to an industry event. It doesn’t hurt that Albert works in my same industry so we basically get a fancy date night for free.
Sour: A pair of my favorite boots have bit the bullet. Now I have to deal with finding a new pair that I like as much and that aren’t too pricey.
