I am back from my Vegas vacation and no longer jet lagged. This was my 4th trip to Las Vegas, but the first that was not with a bunch of girls for a bachelorette party. I may have been with my family, but it was just as fun (albeit different) as when I went with my girlfriends.
- I was in Vegas for a homebuilder convention and since my father was the convention chairman (for all 110,000 attendees!), we were put up in a ridiculous suite at the Wynn. There were two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a massive living room with a stocked wet bar, and a massage room. It was incredibly luxurious, right down to the turndown service and the slippers they provided.
- Since Vegas is a relatively short drive from LA, Greg and Susan came out to hang with us for part of the trip. I hate that they moved so far away, and it was such a treat to see them. Mark and Greg put together a night out at the club for the five of us and we had a fabulous time, Vegas style.
- Although I have made several trips out there, I had never been to Downtown Vegas. In fact, I didn’t really know it existed (even though it’s the home to so many of those crazy signs you see in movies). Downtown Vegas is definitely seedier than the strip, but I had so much fun gambling for cheap and getting some quality time with my Bub.
