I’ve had something after work every night this week. It’s been a long time since I kept myself this busy so I’m looking forward to slowing things down a bit this Saturday.
On Monday, Shawn had all the boys over for their fantasy football draft. Instead of getting out of dodge, Kathleen decided to cook them a beautiful meal of lasagna, potatoes, and broccoli rabe because she’s an awesome wifey. Since she was sticking around the apartment, she said Alison and I should come over, too, and while the boys did their football thang, we went into the bedroom with a couple bottles of wine and The Real Housewives of Orange County.
A good bagel sandwich is a great [and very New York] way to start a lazy Sunday.
Last week I was fortunate enough to attend a screening of the new mocumentary series “Documentary Now!” followed by a panel with the show’s stars, producers, and director. It was a fun night and now I can’t wait to see more episodes of the show. If you’re a documentary junkie, you should definitely check it out.
