My La La was born in New York City in 1929, just like John’s Pizzeria. Sure, that’s just a coincidence, but it’s an important one to note when two of my favorite things came to be at the exact same time and place.
Bottom line: this is solid coal oven pizza. The crust is thin and the sauce just sweet enough. A large, 2 topping pizza comes in at just $23.50 so you won’t break the bank on date night. All the booths have been deeply carved by the many patrons who have passed through this place over the years. There’s a reason they keep coming back – this pizza is good.
