Sweet & Sour

“Sweet & Sour” is my version of that dinner table game where every guest says what the best and worst parts of the day were.  As we head into the weekend, I think it’s important to get the bad stuff off your chest and remember the positives as a silver lining and energizing factor. When the weekend hits, I like to release the “sour” and embrace the “sweet.”

Sweet: I survived my first week of work at my new job!

Sour: I have been here for 5 days but they treat me like it’s been 5 months.  Overall, I think that’s good because it means they trust me; however, it’s a little overwhelming because there’s no way I could know everything so quickly.  The few projects I have worked on have been mostly successful, so that gives me hope that I’ll figure it all out.
