“Sweet & Sour” is my version of that dinner table game where every guest says what the best and worst parts of the day were. As we head into the weekend, I think it’s important to get the bad stuff off your chest and remember the positives as a silver lining and energizing factor. When the weekend hits, I like to release the “sour” and embrace the “sweet.”
Sweet: After a rough day at work on Tuesday, things really came back into focus on Wednesday. I followed my productive work day with a good run and healthy dinner so the second half of my week started on a good note.
Sour: I was supposed to go to a concert last night, but I was working late. Also, it was almost a relieve because it wasn’t starting til after 9 in Brooklyn. It’s sad when I realize I’m getting too old for late night activities on a school night in outer borroughs.
