I’ll keep this synopsis short: the plot of this book is essentially that of hit J Lo movie “Monster-in-Law”. This book is just a bit darker than the film, in keeping with the current thriller frenzy happening in the book world.
Overall, this was a fun, juicy read that I flew through. My only qualm is that I felt several of the situations (including some major plot twists) could have been avoided if a character or two simply had a conversation. Nobody would keep their mouths shut for so long as these characters do, particularly when their reasons for holding their tongues are not that compelling.
