With several weeks worth of vacation unused, I decided to take Tuesday and Wednesday off work. I’m now kicking myself for not doing this sooner. It may not be a true vacation but these random days are so necessary. Today is our company’s [virtual] holiday party so I was able to kinda ease back into work. And next week is Xmas so it’ll be a total cake walk!

I really wanted to try and make my own wreath this year – it was time to up my holiday game. Decorating a living wreath is a tad messy and not as simple as I had thought, but I love the outcome. It’s hard to tell, but those antlers are glittery because why not go a little extra?! (And, yes, I do love the juxtaposition of the wreath and the mezuzah.)

Rachel so sweetly dropped off a box of some of the most delicious cookies over the weekend. I can now say those brown butter toffee chocolate chip cookies from Bon App are very much worth the hype.

We got quite the snowstorm last night! Apparently we woke up to more snow this morning than all of last year combined. And the best part? I don’t have to deal with a crummy commute. I truly get to enjoy the snow the way people do on tv: from the warmth and comfort of my couch, surrounded by Christmas lights. It’s magical.
