Finally! My parents arrive tonight!!! I won’t see them til tomorrow morning and it’s a very short visit, but I’m so excited to finally see their faces. It’s been nine months since I last saw them in person – the longest I’ve ever gone – and it’s been torture.
I changed out the lamps in our living room and feel like it made a world of difference. My beau isn’t crazy about them, but I love how they open up the room simply by taking up much less space. They’re also nice and bright and I love having lots of light.
Easy and amazing supper: huge salad topped with [thinly sliced] sous vide steak. This meal resulted in very little cleanup, had virtually no hands-on time, and tasted so good. Isn’t she just gorge?
I’m living for new spring nail colors lately.
