Here we go with another TikTok inspiration and this is one of the best ones yet. It’s so simple and completely turns a microwave snack on its head. You’re essentially turning a package of ramen into delicious peanut noodles. The whole thing comes together in less than 5 minutes and is probably how I’ll be eating these noods moving forward. It’s also so simple you can figure out the full recipe in a 15 second video.
Start by ditching the seasoning packet. Put a bit of water in a saucepan and bring to a boil or simmer. Add your block of dry ramen noodles and stir around in the water til it gets soft. The rest comes together crazy quickly so it’s good to have all your ingredients ready to go. Add a scoop of sunbutter (or peanut butter), a heavy drizzle of soy sauce, and a few squirts of sriracha. Toss it all together in the pan so the noodles are coated and add a bit more water til it reaches the desired sauce consistency (not clumpy). Remove from the heat and immediately pour into a bowl where you’ll top it with some sesame seeds and enjoy.
These ingredients should become pantry staples if they aren’t already. It’s so nice to be able to throw this together for a quick last minute lunch or late night [drunk] snackie.
