This was my second week back at work (first full week) and it was a doozy. Albert had to go out of town for work and daycare doesn’t start til next week. Let’s just say it’s quite difficult working full time and caring for a 4 month old with no help. But the week is almost over and my Mom came to help so we’re all in good moods around here.
Over the weekend we finally checked out Santiago’s Beer Garden, a neighborhood spot that feels pretty young and downtown…because they do boozy brunch yesssss. I haven’t gone anywhere that offered bottomless mimosas since pre-pandemic and it was a throwback. I was more than happy to introduce Finn to such an iconic NYC tradition.
There’s a coffee shop in Harlem that’s inside a hardware/gardening shop and I just think that’s the greatest thing. It’s like a coffee speakeasy.
Our tradition of brunch at Barney Greengrass after my beau finishes a 4-mile Central Park race continues! The latkes really are a great way to start the meal.
