When moving from Murray Hill aka Curry Hill, I thought I’d lose all access to good Indian food. But then I found Indian Summer…and now I’ve found Polash. While chatting with a neighbor she claimed Polash was even more flavorful and more reminiscent of the food in her native country. I’m still an Indian Summer fan, but Polash might be a new fave, thanks, largely, to their huge menu. (And great prices.)
We ordered: meat samosas, naan, vegetable pakora, lamb biriyani, and chicken mushroom curry. Everything was really good – zero complaints – and the pakora arrived still crispy, which seems to be a delivery feat. Also, the chicken in my curry was suuuper tender. As mentioned, the menu is large so I’ll have fun working my way through it.
