We all love things that feel exclusive; and we love them even more when they’re delicious and not overly expensive. That’s why I knew I had to jump on the Sundays Only train the moment I learned of the small business. Operating off Instagram, this queer, Bronx-based, POC-owned company is delivering fresh baked biscuits with once a week.

Here’s how it works: on Thursday, they announce the three flavors of the week and drop a link in their bio. If you want in, you’ll need to set a reminder because they sell out fast. Pick your biscuits, send your money, and wait for your warm baked goods to arrive.

I happened to learn about the business just before my birthday and the following week, they were randomly delivering on Saturday instead of Sunday. Seeing as Saturday was my actual birthday, the stars seemed to have aligned. The flavors that week were original, cinnamon raisin, and peach cobbler. I was hoping for a savory flavor (like the garlic and herb or bacon cheddar), but I was happy with the selection. I got two buttermilk and two peach cobbler ($35.25) and found them waiting for me in my building’s lobby when I got back from a Peloton class.

They suggest popping them in the oven for 7-9 min at 350, which is just what I did. They were so fluffy and so good. Flavor was mild, not like sweet cake (just how I like it). They were pretty perfect biscuits and certainly better than any I could make myself. Honestly, they were better than most biscuits I could buy. If I were hosting brunch, I would definitely want to plan to have these on the menu.
