Yesterday was my worst day in commuting history. It was so bad that it actually left me feeling emotionally drained. I’m certainly ready for the weekend to recoup. Tomorrow will be a chill night because Saturday is going to be NUTS with Halloween falling on a Saturday. Every block, building, and museum is hosting something. And then Sunday is the marathon. It’s going to be the best kind of busy.

I spent Friday night on the couch with book and a good red. I was in ultra comfy sweatpants and the temps had cooled to just the right temperature so it felt like peak cozy evening.

Joining the Paley Center continues to prove itself as a great move for our family. On Sunday, we attended an advanced screening of the new Cat in the Hat movie, did some crafts, hit up the video game floor, and checked out the 100 years of NBC exhibit where my Alberts tried their luck hosting the Today Show.

I spent Tuesday evening crafting our Halloween costumes. Coloring with markers while watching Great British Baking Show was oddly meditative.
