As of today, I have nothing planned for Friday night, Saturday, or Saturday night. After a whirlwind trip to Athens over the weekend and then a long day of travel to and from Philly for work on Monday, I am happy the weekend before Thanksgiving is not packed to the brim.
- I was so happy Albert was able to travel to Athens with me for his first ever UGA game. Game Day is something that must be experienced, not just described. It was also pretty much the best game for him to witness as we crushed Auburn. The excitement of the game made me forget how cold it was. Do you see all those sweatshirts and blankets? Yea, that’s never happened before. The cold weather was unprecedented, but it didn’t even come close to ruining my weekend.
- Last week my doorman told me I had a package. Funny, I didn’t order anything?! It turns out my Mom sent me the nicest gift as a congratulations for (re)launching this site. I needed some new cookware that was nice enough to be guest-facing and this one is the exact color of my apartment!
- Shake Shake just opened a location [pretty much] right across the street from my apartment. I am so unbelievably happy to have them in the neighborhood, which they call out in a custom painting. By day two I had already stopped in after work for a shackburger and fries. This is going to be dangerous.
