“Sweet & Sour” is my version of that dinner table game where every guest says what the best and worst parts of the day were. As we head into the weekend, I think it’s important to get the bad stuff off your chest and remember the positives as a silver lining and energizing factor. When the weekend hits, I like to release the “sour” and embrace the “sweet.”
Sweet: I’ve started getting my Holiday shopping done. It’s nice knowing that I won’t be rushing to get it done at the last minute. Now I just need to make sure I get them all delivered.
Sour: Albert went to Boston for work this week. Normally I wouldn’t mind him being gone, but since I was home for a week for Thanksgiving and we’re not really talk-on-the-phone people, it ends up being a lot of time apart. On the bright side, he’ll be back tonight so we’ll be hanging out by tomorrow at the latest.
