“Sweet & Sour” is my version of that dinner table game where every guest says what the best and worst parts of the day were. As we head into the weekend, I think it’s important to get the bad stuff off your chest and remember the positives as a silver lining and energizing factor. When the weekend hits, I like to release the “sour” and embrace the “sweet.”
Sweet: Albert and I both had work event cancellations last night so we had an impromptu date night. It was a nice little surprise getting to see him before heading out of town.
Sour: Sometimes I’m not invited to run out for lunch with some of the people I work with. Not in a mean way…I think it’s just that I bring my own lunch most days so I’m forgotten, particularly because we don’t hang out outside the office too much anyway. Even if it’s unintentional, it’s still a little…womp womp.
