At a recent party I wanted to make a dish that was a play on the phrase “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” so obviously it had to incorporate Ritz crackers. A quick Google search led me to this recipe for Ritz Cracker Toffee Bark. Did everyone know it was this simple to make toffee? It’s just brown sugar and butter melted together. It takes 4 minutes total. Not only was it so easy to make, it’s great to make in advance so it’s perfect for potlucks. In fact, since I have leftover ingredients, I already have plans to make it again for book club next week.
There are plenty of ways to mix up the toppings. You can use dried fruit, cashews, or peanut butter chips. And while I’m not normally a milk chocolate gal (team dark all the way), I thought it worked here. The crackers are salty and I used salted butter when making the toffee so it helped to use the sweet milk chocolate.

This looks super tasty. Thanks for linking to the recipe and sharing your creation.
