Last week was so nice being a short week because of Labor Day…this week not so much. At least I’ve had some fun things going on, like book club tonight. This weekend should also be a good one, filled with Georgia football and Karina’s 30th birthday brunch at a restaurant I’ve been wanting to try.
Instead of a mint, Russ & Daughters Cafe gives you one of these coffee candies with your check. It’s like a latte in hard candy form and was surprisingly great.
I love the food options at Rockaway beach! Way better than standard boardwalk fare. The lobster roll was nicely sized and the slaw on the lobster sliders was great. The empanadas also came with some yummy sauces. I also really like Matt and Karina’s beach blanket.
I came home last week to this sight. Apparently the front end of a truck just blew up – look what it did to the road! Thankfully no one was hurt, which means I’m allowed to say I was kind of in awe of the whole thing and thought it was a little cool.
