Slowly but surely I am starting to get into the swing of things at my new job. I still have those “what the heck am I doing?!” and “am I doing this right?!” feelings, but they are beginning to ease. It is only week two, after all. One thing that’s very different is that I have no more after work events. On the media agency side, I would often have dinner or drinks with reps. Now I’m on the other side and since marketing (as opposed to the reps themselves) is more behind the scenes, I no longer have plans after work. I loved work events when I was new to the biz, but now that I’m older I love having the time after work to myself. I can run errands, catch up with my parents, or make plans with friends.
This vignette sits in the center of my coffee table at all times, but I thought it was extra perfect for Halloween night.
My Mom sent me this pic of Brooks playing with the lawn mower I got him for his first birthday. Tip: this is a great toy to get little ones walking. When you push it around, it shoots out bubbles, and my Mom said he loves making people chase them. I can’t wait to see him in action when I am home for Thanksgiving in just two short weeks!
I loved this entrance to the yoga studio Steph and I went to in Hoboken. I like when old buildings are kept as is.
