This past weekend was strange. It was relatively low key, but it left me feeling more exhausted than ever. After happy hour on Friday, I went home around 9 and enjoyed some mac and cheese. I spent Saturday looking for an engagement shoot outfit (I had to skip a bar crawl I was looking forward to) and going to bed early. Sunday was spent taking pictures and going bowling with our league. It wasn’t like I was partying, but I feel like I barely had a moment to breathe. Thankfully I’ve had a ton of time to myself this week since Albert has had work events and travel every night. It’s given me time to regroup so I’m ready for this weekend, which includes the start of Passover.
On Thursday I brought home flowers (like I usually do about every two weeks) and asked Albert to stick them in a vase while I showered. When I came out, he had put a single bloom that had broken from it’s stem into a glass by side of the bed. It’s such a happy flower and makes me smile so it’s great that it’s the last thing I see before I go to sleep and the first thing I see when I wake up.
I loved this grill display in the Dylan’s Candy Bar window with candy coals and kebabs.
The latest art installation in my office building consists of seven massive inflatable bunnies. They’re a little late for Easter, but my work buds and I couldn’t resist getting a pic while we strolled the waterfront during lunch on a particularly gorgeous day. The best part: everyone looks slender when standing in front of a 17′ tall bunny.
