Albert has had a couple work events this week and is away again this weekend for a golf tournament.  I’ve enjoyed having some time to myself, but I’m also really looking forward to the date night we’ve planned for tonight before he leaves town.  After he leaves, I plan to spending the weekend reading and crossing items off my Spring Checklist!

Leading up to Red Nose Day, Walgreens’ initiative against child poverty, the drug store has been selling clown noses.  Albert picked one up and I liked seeing him get silly for a good cause.

I love my new workout pants- the fun pattern was my motivation to actually go to the gym last night.  They’re C9 Champion for Target, and I find the quality can’t be beat for the price.  I was so happy with my workout look that I effortlessly ran 2.5 miles!

The latest installation in my office building is some construction equipment.  I’m not sure everyone enjoys seeing it there, but as the daughter of a builder, I feel right at home.  It reminds me of how my brother was able to name every piece of construction machinery at age 3 or 4.  Apparently Brooks has been spending some time with his Dad on the job site and will soon be able to do the same thing.
