3 on Thursday

Given that it’s a short week, work is a little busier than normal, but I am loving that it’s only 4 days long.  This weekend should be fun with a Garth Brooks concert and an event at Brooklyn Brewery already in the books.

We got an engagement present last week!  That package was definitely nice to come home to.  Inside is a long glass serving dish that will be perfect for serving charcuterie.

In our 3rd year hosting 4th of July festivities, we’ve got the food down to a science: fried chicken from KFC, veggies and dip (dip picked up from Trader Joe’s), simple pasta salad (not pictured), pimento cheese sandwiches, and red white and blue cake pops.  The cake pops were a particularly big hit this year.

I love a good fireworks show!
