After seeing this recipe prepared on an episode of Food Network’s “Farmhouse Rules,” I knew I wanted to make it for my upcoming book club potluck. It’s so easy to throw together and pretty much requires zero cooking (especially since I cook my bacon in the oven), you’ll be done in 20 minutes and only have one bowl to clean.
I left out the celery, because it’s not my thing. I think I made the right choice, but that’s up to you. Usually crab dip is served warm and with cheese. I thought this version, made with a mayo/sour cream base and featuring lemon and tons of fresh herbs was a cool summer take. Also, the crab to dip ratio is thumbs up.
Also there’s this: anything with crab sounds fancy pants. And then if you serve something in endive boats? Extra fancy pants.
