Trader Joe’s turkey meatballs are my weekday mealtime savior. Bless you, Trader Joe’s meatballs and your quick cooking ways. After loving this wrap, I decided to try a new version. Like the other wrap, it’s got a Mediterranean feel, but more crunch and even more Mediterranean-y, thanks to our good friend tahini.

In the five minutes it takes for your meatballs to cook, prep some slaw. I used a broccoli and kale slaw mix that I combined with Greek yogurt, crumbled feta, dill, salt, and pepper. I used a pre-packaged slaw from Trader Joe’s. Any packaged slaw will work, but I really like the texture of this one. There’s lots to chew on, which is important when your meal is a sandwich and you want to squeeze in your serving of veggies.

Stuff your pita with the slaw and meatballs and then top the whole thing with lemon tahini (tahini, water, lemon juice, salt).
