So my trip to Nashville was amazing. I want to go back. I NEED to go back. We spent most of our time in the touristy downtown/Broadway district and I loved it. Sure it’s touristy, but it’s FUN. I wouldn’t have given up a minute of that experience. We did, however, spend one morning in the Gulch neighborhood and it got me excited about non-downtown Nashville. I guess I’ll just have to make another visit down there! This weekend may not be as exciting as last weekend, but it’s still shaping up to be a fun one with a bar crawl on the calendar.

On my way to meet friends for supper in the West Village, I passed by this adorable soda-/barber shop. If I was a dude, I would totally want to get my haircut at Snip ‘n Sip.

Nashville had so much amazing street art. There were more murals than I could could count. Just one more reason I loved this city.

We took advantage of the Pedal Tavern in Nashville as a way to see the downtown area of the city. Basically, you and 11 other people power a trolly-type vehicle by pedaling. It’s a great way to see an area…it’s also a great way to drink. The pedal tavern is BYOB. You can’t bring glass, so we stocked up on cans of wine and spiked seltzer. I was actually a big fan of the brands above.
