“Sweet & Sour” is my version of that dinner table game where every guest says what the best and worst parts of the day were. As we head into the weekend, I think it’s important to get the bad stuff off your chest and remember the positives as a silver lining and energizing factor. When the weekend hits, I like to release the “sour” and embrace the “sweet.”
Sweet: I am loving the book I’m reading right now. I have caught myself laughing out loud on the subway while reading it. Also, everyone received our wedding invitations and I got the rehearsal dinner invites in the mail so this wedding situation is starting to feel very real and exciting!
Sour: I didn’t expect Albert to be home for supper on Wednesday so I didn’t have much prepared and had planned to just snack on the few leftovers I had in the fridge. Turns out he was home and there weren’t enough leftovers for 2 so we had to order takeout. Because I was craving sushi, this turned into a much pricier Wednesday night than expected…but it was really yummy.
