Sometimes I think there’s a place you’ve just got to know about and my Public Service Announcements (PSAs) will give you the full skinny.
I knew of Artists & Fleas in Williamsburg, but since I rarely find myself in Brooklyn, I never got to check it out myself. Recently, however, they opened a spot in SoHo that I stumbled upon on my way to meet friends for book club. I’m so glad this space is now within reach because there is soooo much there I want.
Essentially a multi-vendor marketplace, Artists & Fleas is a loft/warehouse space filled with unique artists. Some are permanent, others rotating. There’s clothing, jewelry, handbags, books, art – a little something for everyone.

Whether you decide to bring home a pair of vintage gloves, a bar of soap, or bow tie, you’ll probably find something here to love. In fact, I’d recommend this as a great spot to bring out of towners. It’s in a fun neighborhood with lots of good restaurants and shops so you could certainly make a day out of it.
It took everything I had to walk out empty handed. But don’t worry; I’ll be back.
