This post coming atcha from the west coast, where I’m attending a conference for work. I’m excited to extend my trip by a night so I can see a friend, but I’m also very excited to head back home to a long weekend since there’s no work on Monday!
Because I was catching a very early flight yesterday, I didn’t want to be cooking on Tuesday night. That doesn’t mean we couldn’t still do Taco Tuesday! We treated ourselves to some takeout from an oh-so-good spot on nearby Spanish Harlem.
Years ago, my Mom started arming us with “nosh n fly,” i.e., snacks for flights. I came home on Tuesday to a Valentines card that I get to open while I’m away and some of my very own nosh n fly for the trip. Makes the early wakeup sting a bit less!
A new addition to the bedroom: cotton. I love that it reminds me of home and brings some life to the space.
