Hope is alive. Twice in a row I’ve succeeded in getting Whole Foods delivery slots. It seems like such a small thing, but it makes living during a pandemic much more bearable. This weekend we’re renting a car so that my beau can play golf (and get to the course in the most disinfected way possible) but keeping the vehicle for about four days. It’ll be nice just to get out of the house and drive around. We’ll also be able to hit up Trader Joe’s and a favorite restaurant or two that aren’t in walking distance. It’s as close as we’ll get to an adventure!

I threw together a random salad and lovedddd the result. Little gem lettuce, avocado, persian cucumber, heart of palm, and sriracha ranch. So simple but so good thanks to that little gem lettuce. I feel like I enjoyed lettuce way more than I should.

I rarely read all of the Sunday Times on Sunday, but that just means it’s the gift that keeps on giving. I enjoyed the main section on Tuesday morning with a cup of coffee and a great new breakfast: frozen waffle topped with sunflower butter and blueberries.

Our wedding planner featured this collage in her company’s stories on Sunday and it just made me so happy.
