This past weekend was just so perfectly FALL. I watched football, I made chili, I cozied up with a good book, and I went on the loveliest walk that took me through a great farmers market. It wasn’t a busy weekend by any means, but it was really nice. I’m looking forward to more of the same this weekend.

I fell in love with Fieldtrip’s beet hot sauce on my first visit. I remember saying that I wish they sold it. Well, It turns out they do. The sauce is made by Hot ‘n Saucy and they actually have three hot sauce varieties. I bought all three and each one is so so good. I already knew I liked the beet fresno, but I can’t get over how good they all taste. Also, the packaging is fab…that probably shouldn’t matter to me, but it does. Y’all know I love supporting local biz so I’m happy to say this is a Harlem-based company. It’s also Black-owned and female-owned. Amazing. (PS – If you happen to go back to that Fieldtrip post, you’ll notice I said the ratio of the crab pockets was off. I’m happy to report they rectified that sitch and I almost always include an order with my standard fried fish bowl.)

I’m so bummed I can’t be glamping in Europe for our annual company retreat, but they’re really trying to bring the fun to a virtual platform. My team pre-recorded our group presentation where we decided to spoof the Real Housewives, which is obviously VERY MUCH in my wheelhouse. Here’s a little sneak peek. Also, I’m kinda proud of myself for scripting, photoshopping, and partially editing this lil piece ‘o work.

The caramel apple granola from Trader Joe’s is pretty sweet but wowwww.
