Pizza Friday should be observed everywhere. For a while after they opened, we found ourselves juuuust outside Little Luzzo’s delivery radius but it looked so yummy that I constantly checked the apps to see if they expanded their zone. The minute I saw it available to me, I pounced. This small shop is serving up Saved By The Bell realness. We’re talking neon, lighting bolts, and all things that would make a 90s kid happy.

We got a few apps to share: caprese, meatballs, and caesar salad. The mozz in the caprese was good just needed a bit of salt and the caesar was solid. Meatballs were fine enough, but that’s not why we’re here. Let’s get to the most important part of the order: the pizza. There were several we wanted to try so we narrowed it down to two, the ripieno (red sauce based with mozzarella, ricotta, mushrooms, spicy salami, ham, and basil) and the sausage and pesto sicilian pizza. I loved getting one round and one square pizza and kept going back and forth as to which was my favorite before finally deciding I didn’t have to choose.

I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about this place. The toppings are fresh, the flavor combinations are ideal, and it just seems like a fun spot. Like I said, Pizza Friday is pretty much a ritual around here and Little Luzzo’s has henceforth been added to the rotation.
