Canary Club

Normally I like to be the cruise director for office gatherings, you know, show off my restaurant and funtime skills. But when Sara took the lead on a recent work dinner, she proved she could handle the job. She set up an amazing family style meal at Canary Club where the food and setting were equally great.

I love the details right down to the door handles. We were in a private room that came with a server who kept the cocktails flowing. There’s a NOLA influence so they made a great sazerac if you’re into that, as cool people are.

You’ll see the full menu from our meal here, but I’d say the crudités and tempura carrots were my favorite items of the evening. That is far from my brand, but what can I say? I’m extra impressed when someone really knows their way around a vegetable.

The Supper Club is a completely private space with a bar and dedicated restroom. The room seats up to 18 guests for dinner and feels like a French salon. But don’t let your evening end there. Head inside the main restaurant and downstairs for live music and dancing. There’s also a curved bar downstairs (or the full music room) that can be rented out for parties. This is an ideal spot for a private event. The food is good, the music lively, and the vibes immaculate.
