This is your sign to make a giant cheesy loaf of pull-apart bread for your next game watch. I’ve made a version of this before, but I always focused on the standard flavor combo: butter + garlic + cheddar + scallions. That’s great, but I wanted to mix it up this time so I went with a pesto version. I used this recipe, but a recipe is barely needed.

Start by slicing a loaf crusty French/Italian bread in a crosshatch pattern, taking care not to slice all the way through. Pour 1/4 c. melted butter between all the slices and then spoon 1 c. store-bought pesto into all the nooks and crannies. Finally, stuff 1.5 c. of grated mozzarella everywhere. I recommend using a ball/log of fresh mozzarella and grating it – it will melt best. Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and bake at 375 for 15 minutes. Open the foil to expose the top of the bread and cook for an additional 10 minutes.

This is such a level up on garlic bread. I promise people may seem shy to reach in at first, but it won’t be long before all decorum goes out the window.
