Mirepoix

I think – think – I’ve recovered from my birthday. I still can’t believe my beau threw me a surprise party and I had the absolute greatest time with my friends. This week needed to be fully devoted to recharging.

My birthday party was amazing, but honestly, the whole weekend was ideal. I spent Friday enjoying my favorite pastimes: a high quality sushi lunch, a Peloton class in-studio, and Taco Bell + wine + singing aloud to a musical. My actual birthday included another Peloton studio class and clearing out my dvr while reading a book before the big party. I couldn’t have asked for more and love that my loved ones know me so well to make it all happen.

One of the best parts about where my office is located is access to the best farmers market three times a week. It’s heirloom tomato time, people!

After some dodgy 60-something days, the weather is starting to feel more June-like (though still not as warm as it typically is this time of year). That means plenty of walks through the conservatory gardens. V often goes to this Central Park oasis with his class (the school is right by the park so it is their actual playground) and he was excited to show me some of his favorite spots and flowers he recently discovered.
