I’ve wanted to try this Japanese cocktail bar for quite some time, and my birthday weekend was the perfect opportunity to make the request. Glad I finally hit up this place – it’s an ideal pre-dinner stop. Next time I won’t take so dang long.

We didn’t stay long because we were hopping around, but it was long enough to try one of their creative cocktails. The sour cherry crush was too sweet for me to have more than one, but the flavor was great. While this is definitely a cocktail bar, the snacks are not to be overlooked. We got the crudite (served with a dip that tasted JUST like my favorite sesame salad dressing) and were impressed by the heirloom looking carrots and radishes – not the boring vegetables. The deviled eggs were made with white miso, japanese mustard, salmon roe, and chives. Not a single note.
