I honestly don’t know how we’re already at July. The summer just started, didn’t it?! We’re staying local for the 4th this year, but I’m excited to carve out some time to celebrate with friends in an urban backyard. I’m also thrilled to have a short week!

I love how everyone has gotten into the World Cup! You can’t go more than two blocks without finding a bar or restaurant hosting watch parties. NYC is such an international city so I’m sure that has something to do with it, but I hope the fever has caught on elsewhere too because it’s made for a super fun energy.

Speaking of the World Cup, we spent another afternoon at the Paley Center where I got to try my hand (er, voice) at announcing in their World Cup exhibit.

School ended on Friday and it was straight to camp on Monday. I can’t believe my little mansky man is done with prek and will be in kindergarten in just over two months! I’m very grateful for the nurturing environment his school has built. I am astonished when I consider just how much he’s grown over the last year. I was a private school kid, but NYC has turned me into a public school believer!
