Book Review: Exit Lane

Just after graduation, Marin and Teddy road trip from Iowa City to NYC. The next 8 years are a will-they-won’t-they global slow burn.

As far as adaptations go – because this is most definitely a When Harry Met Sally adaptation, I think this did a very good job, largely because there was some extra character development (in the form of cancer x2) that shapes the man characters’ motivations. I actually think, it’s a better retelling than People We Meet on Vacation. (Don’t come for me.)

3.75 out of 5 stars.
