Astoria Bier and Cheese

Albert discovered Astoria Bier and Cheese on a run through his neighborhood and new immediately it would be a place for us.  He gets a wide selection of beer and I get cheeeeeeese.  We went with The Works platter, which comes with 5 cheeses, 4 meats, and some accoutrements like fig cake.  I was very impressed by the cheese selection and the servers knowledge of which beers would best pair with each cheese.

Not only is it a bar/restaurant, it serves as a store of sorts for growlers and cocktail cabinet items like mixers, olives, and spreads.  There are about 350 bottled beers to choose from and about 80 cheeses, so the selection is certainly there.  And not for nothing, but they put together one of the best looking meat and cheese plates I’ve seen.
