If you’re going to spend $13 on lunch in Midtown Manhattan, you might as well make sure it’s delicious, filling, and healthy. Little Beet offers just that with their locally sourced, seasonal meals. Basically, you make a plate out of a protein and sides. I chose chicken along with cauliflower (spiced with something delicious I couldn’t pronounce) and a cabbage/soba salad (with cilantro, mint, and a miso ginger dressing).
This felt like a legit, well balanced meal. It was pretty much the opposite of the feeling I usually have when I order lunch to go. It is hard to believe this food is gluten free and healthy.
